Fall Workshops 2023 in the Gaspereau Valley

Maria is back to teaching a round of workshops at Julie Rosvall’s studio in the Gaspereau Valley, Nova Scotia. Julie has a wonderful little printmaking workshop that makes it a fabulous experience especially for anyone who loves fibre, textile art and printmaking. The first workshop will be a highly experimental Monotype workshop for the lover of all things fibre. We experiment with your fabric, yarn, embroidery floss scraps to create stunning one of a kind images.

The second workshop will be focussing on Multi-layered Monotype, which is a bit slower, more deliberate and with quite a bit more planning. You will be wiping an image into an inked plate and with each printed colour layer a fully aligned and carefully created one-of-a kind piece of artwork will emerge.
