Fiona and Maria were interviewed this week about their collaborative Shared Energies project on the Canadian Podcast “In Conversation with Stephen Hurley” through VoicEd radio . Fiona and Maria’s collaboration Shared Energies project was featured today on CTV news Atlantic Live at 5. They were interviewed about their project during their residency at the Saint John Arts Centre.
Maria and her collaborator Fiona Chinkan are bringing their newest iteration of the Shared Energies Project to Inverness, NS. The artists can be visited in the studio at the Inverness County Centre for the Arts between July 8th and August 2nd. The exhibition Shared Energies: Momentum will open at the Inverness County Centre for the Arts on August 3rd at 6pm. Fiona Chinkan and Maria Doering have spent the month of April in Princeton, NJ at the Arts Council of Princeton. The two artistic collaborators took over the Taplin Gallery space and turned it into a studio space/workshop for the month continuing their work on Shared Energies: Cells, Stars and the Fluidity between. During this time the studio space was open to the public to visit and the artists enjoyed much interaction with the art enthusiasts of Princeton. The culmination of this project is now on view at the Taplin Gallery until June 10th.

Maria Doering & Fiona Chinkan will be exhibiting the culmination of their month long artist residency at the Arts Council of Princeton at the Taplin Gallery in Princeton, NJ from May 6th, 2017 until June 10th, 2017. The artist duo will be holding an artist talk at 2pm on May 6th, followed by the opening reception from 3pm – 5pm.
